Care planning

Overview

The cloud holds the parts of the system that benefit from being shared: clinical knowledge, care planning, patient records, provider and laboratory integration, insurance information and analytics.

It produces recommendations and protocols. It does not drive appliances — the YF1000 does.

Why the split

Separating authoring from execution means care can be improved centrally and take effect everywhere, while the thing physically touching a patient stays deterministic and locally controlled.

It also means a host that loses connectivity continues to execute the protocol it already holds.
