The Knowledge Platform holds the clinical guidelines, protocols and evidence the Care Planning Engine reasons over. It is versioned, attributable and reviewable.
Why it matters
A recommendation is only as defensible as the source it came from. Keeping knowledge as an explicit, versioned layer means any plan can be traced back to what was known, and when.
Future expansion
Third-party knowledge providers and specialty guideline sets are expected to attach here rather than being merged into the planning engine.
